Jeff Jahnke currently serves as Director of Bands at Piedmont High School He has previously led high school programs at Edmond Memorial, Jenks, Putnam City North and at Lovejoy High School in Texas. Additionally he has served as the Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Oklahoma and at Moore High School.
His primary responsibilities in Piedmont involve leading the instruction of the Wind Symphony, Pride of Piedmont marching band, and jazz ensemble. Additional
instructional time is spent assisting with band classes at Piedmont Middle School and Piedmont Intermediate.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and also earned a Masters degree in Conducting & Instrumental Pedagogy from Oklahoma State University. He is a former student of Gene Thrailkill, Dr. Roland Barrett, Dr. William Wakefield, Dr. Irvin Wagner, and Dr. Joseph Missal.

Mr. Morse moved from South Carolina to Oklahoma in 2016. He earned a Bachelor's in Music Education from Southern Nazarene University. During his studies at SNU, he performed in the Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Chamber Ensembles, Musical Productions, and with the Sound of the Storm Marching Band. He also performed with the OkMEA Intercollegiate Honor Band from 2018 to 2020 and marched with Resistance Indoor Percussion in 2017, 2018, and 2020. After graduation, Mr. Morse married his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, and they adopted their puppy, Princess Mia.

Mr. Gowriluk has recently completed his 4th year of teaching as Assistant Band Director at Carl Albert High School. In Connor’s first few years of teaching, his Symphonic Band consistently received Sweepstakes at the OSSAA State Concert Band Contest. While at Carl Albert High School, he has also assisted in the start up of an extracurricular 2nd Jazz Ensemble and Steel Pan Ensemble.
Previously, Mr. Gowriluk has served as a marching band technician with the Carl Albert High School Band and the Broken Arrow High School Marching Band. After graduating from Broken Arrow High School, Connor received a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education degree from Oklahoma City University. His primary instrument is the French Horn. He was a marching member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for 5 years where he served as a Junior Officer Horn Sergeant. Connor is a former student of Dr. Kate Pritchett, and Dr. Michael Raiber.

Ms. Brook recently graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor Degree in Music Education in the fall of 2021. Ms. Brook was born and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma where she was a member of their Marching Band and Wind Ensemble. Her primary instrument is the oboe while her secondary is percussion. Ms. Brook has over a total of 10 seasons of Color Guard and dance experience, which includes 4 seasons with the Resistance Indoor Drumline. Ms. Brook loves listening to movie and video game soundtracks, playing video games, doing puzzles, and her adorable cat Pillsbury.
